Ampermo was honored with the Sustainability Award in Automotive 2025. The award honors outstanding sustainable solutions in the automotive and mobility industry. In the “Mobility Concepts – Infrastructure” category, Ampermo won the award with its innovative depot charging solution, which relies on integrated, climate-friendly energy systems.

The challenges facing the industry are clear: the transition to sustainable mobility requires marketable and effective concepts. With the Sustainability Award in Automotive, the ATZ/MTZ Group (Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden) and Arthur D. Little recognize companies that accelerate the transformation of the industry with marketable, implementable and demonstrably sustainable solutions and whose products or solutions make a significant contribution to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This is precisely where Ampermo comes in: With a combination of photovoltaic systems, battery storage systems, high-performance charging infrastructure and intelligent energy management , Ampermo offers a scalable complete solution for industrial and, in particular, logistics companies.

A unique selling point here is the “Own & Operate” approach: Ampermo not only takes on the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of the systems, but also the complete financing. This means there are no investment costs for our customers – they can concentrate fully on their core business. Ampermo stands by its customers as a long-term partner and ensures a reliable and economical energy supply.

The award-winning solution makes it possible to overcome grid connection bottlenecks and efficiently charge electric trucks with locally produced, clean electricity. It thus promotes emission-free electromobility, reduces CO2 emissions and makes a measurable contribution to climate neutrality.

With this solution, Ampermo is also making a targeted contribution to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs ) of the United Nations, including “Affordable and clean energy” and “Industry, innovation and infrastructure”.

The award was presented at the international ATZlive congress “Drives and energy systems of tomorrow” on March 26, 2025 in Berlin. Prof. Dr. Julia Daecke, Managing Director and COO of Ampermo, accepted the award in person and commented:

“Our mission is to make clean energy economically viable – exactly where it is needed, at the right time and with minimal effort for our customers. The award is a strong endorsement of our team, our solutions and our vision of a sustainable transport future.”

With the Sustainability Award in Automotive 2025, Ampermo is sending a clear signal about the role of intelligent energy infrastructure in the mobility transition and demonstrating that sustainable mobility is feasible – economically, future-proof and in partnership.
