Landowners as Key Partners
What We Offer Landowners
To build photovoltaic systems and battery storage facilities, we are looking for suitable land, which we lease or purchase. The high economic value of our projects enables us to offer very attractive terms:
- Long-term, predictable income for up to 30 years
- Flexible compensation models – ongoing lease payments or one-time payouts
- Revenue-sharing options upon request
We tailor contract terms individually to the goals and preferences of each landowner.
What Types of Land Are Suitable?
- Agricultural and conversion land from 5 hectares upwards is suitable for our combined photovoltaic and battery storage solutions.
- Industrial and commercial land starting at 500 square meters is used for our large-scale battery storage systems.
We assess land suitability quickly and easily. Landowners receive feedback on the project’s feasibility within a short time.
What Benefits Do Landowners Gain?
01
Attractive and Reliable Additional Income
We offer compensation that significantly exceeds traditional agricultural lease rates. Landowners gain a stable income – independent of developments in the agricultural sector.
02
Future-Proof Property
Owners of industrial and commercial land benefit from our large-scale energy infrastructure without having to invest themselves. Our grid connections can be shared. This also ensures high connection capacity for future electric mobility.
03
Effective Contribution to Climate Protection
A system on 20 hectares of agricultural land can cover the annual electricity needs of around 5,000 households. This simultaneously ensures supply security and supports climate protection.
Project Timeline
We evaluate the site in terms of:
- Building code requirements
- Solar irradiation and location
- Likelihood of suitable grid connection
Feedback on suitability is usually provided within a few days.
Next, we submit an attractive and transparent lease offer and provide a fair draft contract.
Once the grid operator gives positive feedback, we pay a reservation fee.
After signing the contract, we begin:
- Applying for building permits
- Submitting the grid connection request to the relevant operator
For projects on industrial or commercial sites, the permitting time for battery storage is typically reduced to 6–12 months.
Once all permits are granted and the grid connection is confirmed, construction begins. From this point, we pay the full contractually agreed lease amount.
After 20-30 years, the facility is dismantled within a few weeks.
At the start of the contract, we provide a decommissioning guarantee to ensure proper removal at the end of the system’s life cycle.
