We are very pleased to announce that Maximilian Heilgemair has joined the management team of Ampermo as of today. In this role, he will lead Ampermo’s Utility Scale division. Together with Professor Dr. Julia Daecke, who oversees our Corporate & Industry division, and CEO Mahinde Abeynaike, he completes the company’s executive leadership.
Max builds on his previous role as Head of Business Development, in which he played a key role in scaling Ampermo’s large-scale photovoltaic and battery storage projects.
With more than 13 years of experience in infrastructure and renewable energy, he brings extensive expertise in project development, financing, and M&A. His career led him from investment banking at UniCredit to MEAG and Amber Infrastructure, and ultimately to Ampermo. Over the course of his career, Max has been responsible for equity investments in the triple-digit million range and has successfully served on supervisory boards.
His new role is fully focused on profitable growth:
- Expansion of the project pipeline through in-house greenfield development and the acquisition of high-quality photovoltaic and battery storage projects
- Further increases in execution speed and quality through process optimization, maximum digitalization, and structured organizational development
- Targeted expansion of strong partnerships within the renewable energy ecosystem
